Leamington is a different job to most of Warwickshire. The Regency terraces and villas around the Parade, Clarendon Square and Lansdowne Circus come with natural slate, parapet gutters, lead valleys and tall chimney stacks, and much of it sits in a conservation area. That means repairs have to match what's already there, in the right slate and the right lead, not whatever is cheapest and closest.

Then there's the rest of the town, the Victorian terraces in Milverton and the later housing out toward Lillington and Whitnash, where concrete tile roofs and old felt flat roofs on extensions are the usual work.
