We rake out and repoint the joints, renew the flaunching, and replace flashings in proper lead dressed into the mortar course, not sealant. If the top courses are beyond repair we take them down and rebuild them. Repointing and flashing work is typically a day or two, a partial rebuild longer. Dry weather helps the mortar cure, so we'll plan around the forecast.
